Prof.Philp Krein: Low Cost Solar Power and Its Impact on Energy in China and the World-Global Challenge Lecture 1

03/07/2017 - 18:30
Multipurpose Hall, Residential Colleges

Roles of university and academics have always been beyond the confinements of laboratory and lecture rooms. In the face of an ever-increasing pace of global development, academics have to address not only the issues surrounding our changing world, but also question how and why these events have taken place as well as what academics can do to address them.

ZJE proudly presents its public lecture series – Global Challenges. The central to the series are nine lectures that will draw on wide-ranging themes of the three global academies: Technology Development, Global Environment and Society, and Global Health.

Global Challenges is jointly delivered by ZJE, ZJUI and expertise from across the University of Edinburgh, Zhejiang University and other organization around the world.

The lectures will be held every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the Multipurpose hall in the beautiful Zhejiang University Haining International Campus.

We have the honor of inviting Professor Philp Krein for our first lecture.
