Technology Transfer Blockchain Alliance (TTBA) Jointly Established by the International Campus and Partners


The Technology Transfer Blockchain Alliance (TTBA) was officially launched at the 21st China International High-tech Fair held in Shenzhen on November 13. The International Campus, ZJU attended the event as one of the initiators of the Technology Transfer Blockchain Alliance.

Co-sponsored by the world’s top universities, leading enterprises, and organizations, the Technology Transfer Blockchain Alliance is the first international organization promoting equality to advocate the use of blockchain technology for technology transfer. The first group of 16 member organizations are: Shenzhen International Graduate School of Tsinghua University, International Campus of Zhejiang University, Science and Technology Communication Center of China Association of Science and Technology, Shenzhen National High-tech Industry Innovation Center, Tel Aviv University of Israel, Shenzhen University, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen Advanced Technology Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Northwestern University, City University of Macao, Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University, Institute of Future Industrial Technology, Shenzhen Advanced Electronic Materials International Innovation Research Institute, Accenture (Shenzhen) Global Innovation and R&D Center, China Resources Life Science Group, Guangdong OPPO Mobile Communication Co., Ltd.


Alliance members will deeply integrate blockchain technology with international technology transfer. Through machine trust, smart contract, and intellectual property tokenization, innovative resources will be converged, trust mechanisms will be built, and risks will be diluted. A strong guarantee will be provided for the future benefit of all contributors to technology transfer, and a new paradigm of shared economic international technology transfer with the free participation of the public will be created. Further marketization of scientific and technological innovation following on from the Bayh-Dole Act will be realized. The Alliance is determined to open up a new situation of technology transfer on a global scale and to occupy the ‘commanding heights’ of the innovation economy.  


At the same time, the Alliance will give full play to the liaison role of international technology transfer brokers in China, organize and excavate the team of technology transfer brokers in universities, enterprises, incubators, venture capital, and other innovative chains, so as to provide strong support for innovation-driven development.
