Majors in the basic and translational research on regenerative medicine of sport system, Professor Ouyang has published more than 50 original research papers as the first author and the corresponding author. Moreover, he has applied for 15 invention patents, among which 8 patents have been awarded. Particularly, he has successfully renovated cartilage tissue engineering techniques to keep articular, which had been officially approved to be applied in the 5 biggest hospitals of Zhejiang Province. This successful bench-to-bedside application demonstrates a standardized translational process of regenerative medicine in orthopedics. This achievement won the first prize of the State Science and Technology Awards in 2012 and the second prize of the State Natural Science Award in 2014.
