<p>"Military Science" is a basic curriculum which in order to cultivate and improve the whole quality of college students. The main context introduce the military ideas and technology. The ideas include ancient and modern history, chairman Mao and Jiang ideas and the military situation in the present age. The technology contains exactitude-guide arms, electronic antagonize, space technology and the contemporary high-tech wars. Many multi-media and video resources will teach this curriculum.</p>

According to the Military Service Law of the People’s Republic of China, the National Defense Education Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Students’ Military Training Regulations, the Curriculum of the Military Course in the General Institutions of Higher Education, and the relevant provisions, university students who have permanent residency of mainland China shall take the military training arranged by the school. The military training is based on the rules and regulations of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

<p>Modern Chinese Literature &nbsp;has been formally born since its inception in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period, through the advocacy of the New Culture Movement, and has produced a large number of masterpieces of great aesthetic connotation that have had a profound impact on future generations. The course begins with a lecture on how Chinese literature has changed from classical to modern times (Lecture 1), on the basis of which the next 13 lectures select important works of modern Chinese literature for close reading and aesthetic appreciation of the texts.
