International Research Center for Functional Polymers, located in International Campus, Zhejiang University, is committed to building an international first-class scientific research and teaching center in the field of functional polymers. At the initial stage of construction, the center relies on four provincial and ministerial-level and one national research platforms, including a national and a provincial international cooperative research platform. The five platforms are "key Laboratory of Polymer Synthesis and functional structure of the Ministry of Education", "membrane and Water treatment Technology Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education", "China-Portugal Joint Innovation Center of Advanced Materials of the Ministry of Science and Technology", "Zhejiang key Laboratory of New adsorption and Separation Materials and Applied Technology" and "International Science and Technology Cooperation Base of Polymer Health Materials and Applied Technology of Zhejiang Province". Since the center was officially launched in September 2020, it has been approved to build a national international cooperation platform-China-Portugal Advanced Materials Belt and Road Initiative Joint Laboratory.
