Notice on the Selection of 2023 Academic Advancements Award International Campus, Zhejiang University

   Please refer to the Notice on the Selection of 2023 Academic Advancements Award International Campus, Zhejiang University.

  1. Evaluation Principles: We adhere to the principle of rewarding excellence, encouraging innovation, avoiding mediocrity, and the principles of scientific, rigorous, open, fair, and just evaluation.
  2. Scope of Selection:
  1. The Academic Achievements being evaluated should be in the fields of natural sciences, engineering technology, humanities and social sciences, or interdisciplinary fields related to them, and should have significant significance and impact on scientific and technological, economic, and social development, including fundamental theoretical research and applied research. These research achievements should primarily be completed at the International Campus (address field of the achievements should indicate the International Campus or the relevant unit of International Campus.), or they should be the result of international collaborative research with the participation of International Campus scholars who have made important contributions.
  2. The Academic Achievements being evaluated should have been publicly published, released, awarded on or after January 1, 2023, or have been publicly reported in mainstream media, with special cases being considered on a case-by-case basis.
  1. Award Categories: A maximum of 10 award slots will be available for this selection.
  2. Evaluation Procedure:
  1. Recommendation Organization: Each Institute, School or International Research Center should submit a ranked list of recommended projects to Office of Scientific Research and Technology Transfer by December 4, 2023. In principle, the number of projects recommended by each organization should not exceed 5.
  2. Selection. From December 5, 2023 to December 27, 2023, Office of Scientific Research and Technology Transfer will assist the Academic Affairs Committee of International Campus in evaluating the recommended projects. The final decision on the award-winning results will be made by the Academic Affairs Committee of International Campus.

 

  1. Public Announcement: The award-winning achievements will be publicly displayed on the official website of the international campus for at least 5 working days before January 8, 2024.
  2. Official Announcement: After the public display period, the award-winning achievements will be formally announced before January 13, 2024.
