A preliminary list of nominees shall be compiled from recommendations. The four units—ZJE, ZJUI, ZIBS, and the administration offices—may each recommend two preliminary nominees: one for Scholar of Distinction and one for Staff of Distinction and submit the hard copies of the recommendation materials to the Office of Human Resources by October 20th. Additionally, electronic versions should be sent to the email address: hr@intl.zju.edu.cn.

The vote is expected to take place in mid-November. The working group shall publish the list of nominees and the reasons for their nominations before voting. It will also widely publicize the nominees’ conduct on campus and make arrangements for online voting by faculty, staff, students, and alumni. The results of the ballot will be submitted to the selection committee for reference in making their final decisions in early December.

In mid-December，based on the submitted materials and the results of the ballot, the selection committee will select one nominee for each of the two awards by way of an open vote of the committee and publicly announce the names of the successful nominees.

In late December, the selection committee will submit the names of the winners of the ballot to the Party Committee of the International Campus for consideration, and the Party Committee will issue a formal document confirming the winners after approval.

The winners will receive the awards and be publicly commended. The other nominees will receive an honorary certificate.
