Event Description

The Annual Academic Conference of the International Campus, Zhejiang University provides a platform in which faculty and students can present their academic accomplishments.  

The first Annual Academic Conference was held on December 26, 2020, on the International Campus. More than 300 members attended the conference, with the scholars sharing academic achievements and fostering closer ties with others. The second Annual Academic Conference will be organized by International Campus, Zhejiang University in collaboration with some world-class universities and academic institutions, and the Young Scholars Forum will be held during the conference. 

Here, we warmly welcome scholars around the world to join us in a feast of academic events.

Event Description

The Annual Academic Convention of the International Campus, Zhejiang University provides a platform in which faculty and students can present their academic accomplishments. The purpose of the Convention is to provide opportunities for faculty and students on the International Campus to meet and to discuss current research on a broad range of subjects. The First Annual Academic Convention is on December 26, 2020. The Convention starts with the morning opening ceremony and continues with three concurrent sessions in the afternoon. There is also a poster exhibition. The Wenqin Art Troupe gives a performance in the evening. The Convention is broad in scientific scope, including biomedicine and health, intelligent engineering and innovative materials, and global economic development. The Convention will promote scientific and technological innovation and interdisciplinary scientific research. We warmly welcome you to the Convention, to join us in a feast of academic and cultural integration.

Prof. Tan Weihong
Dean of Molecular Medical College, Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, UCAS Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician of Academy of Sciences of Developing Countries
Prof. Tan has devoted himself to the education and research of biochemistry, biochemical analysis and molecular medicine for a long time. He first put forward a new concept of screening aptamer living cells, developed molecular probes and targeted drugs that specifically identify diseased cells such as malignant tumors, and established a variety of new methods and technologies for diagnosis and treatment of major diseases based on functional nucleic acids.

Prof. Hong Minghui specializes in laser microprocessing & nanofabrication, optical engineering and applications.
