Earth Hour is a global energy conservation activity proposed by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to address global climate change. It advocates that household and business users turn off unnecessary lights and power-consuming products for one hour on the last Saturday in March at 20:30 pm local time to demonstrate their support for climate change actions.
From 2023, "Earth Hour" has been given a greater mission: gathering power from the whole society. Please turn off the lights, light up the hope, and contribute to a better nature. A new logo is created to alert people to the urgency of time. "60+" is replaced with "60" to strengthen the concept of "one hour". It is necessary for people to dedicate more "one hour” to the Earth to create a harmonious future between human beings and nature. The new logo represents our planet in blue and green, encouraging a new vitality for Earth Hour.

turn off the square beside the lake and the surrounding area, and keep the necessary lights. The remaining areas will be normally lit to ensure the normal needs.
Faculty, staff and students are also welcome to spontaneously turn off the lights in Residential College to experience the brilliance of environmental protection in the dark.
