On May 23, Vice Dean of International Campus, ZJU, Qu Lijuan, the instructor of ECO CLUB Dr. Ryan Flanagan, relevant teachers from the Office of Campus Operations and Support, and nearly 20 student members of ECO CLUB gathered together to review the past, and discuss the development of green campus.

The "Green Campus Ambassadors" is mainly composed of students and is committed to helping the campus develop sustainably, pay attention to environmental changes, and promote environmental protection concepts.
Sustainable Campus Development Mentoring System
Dr. Ryan Flanagan is instructed to be the "Sustainable Campus Development Mentor". Relying on the "mentoring system" method, we build a "sustainable campus development education" model, and invite more professional teachers to guide students in green activities.
Green Actions
- Start the Eco-Pro plan, design energy-saving signs, publicize energy-saving behaviors.
- Join the Eco Campus certification system, improve the sustainable campus management structure, and strengthen operation capability.
- Implement garbage classification actions.
- Released the first public accounting report of carbon emissions of local universities, and publicized the monthly energy consumption of major buildings.
- Green Campus Ambassadors participated in the 2019 International Conference of Environmental Sustainability and the Asia Pacific Green Campus Alliance Conference, and won the "Excellent Student Project Award".
- The Library and North Learning and Teaching Building A are LEED-EB Platinum certified.
- On-campus farm labor practices.
- Green sign design, signage design for 20 varieties of plants on campus.
- The campus has passed ISO14001 international environmental management system certification.
- ECO CLUB was established.
- The campus hired the first "Sustainable Campus Development Mentor".

The concept and goal of sustainable campus is the initial intention and mission of the campus. On the road of developing education in "sustainable campus", we have been working hard and never stop.
