Dear all,

In the summer of 2022, high temperatures have continued in many provinces and the electricity load has increased, which poses huge challenges to electricity supply. On August 12, Zhejiang Energy Administration and State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Corporation issued the energy-saving proposal, appealing to practice green and low-carbon production and lifestyle, and proposed energy-saving actions. Frugality is Chinese traditional virtue, and to eliminate waste is the social responsibility of each of us. Now the International Campus puts forward the following energy-saving initiatives:

1. Set up the consciousness of saving electricity. Consciously develop good habits of electricity consumption, take the initiative to promote electricity saving, timely stop electricity wasting behavior.

2. Reasonable use of lighting. During the day, when the light source is sufficient, try not to turn on the light, and when few staff stay in the room, only turn on the light near yourself. Turn off the light when people leave and no ever burning lamps.

3. Scientific use of air conditioning equipment. In summer, the air conditioning temperature should not be lower than 26 degrees Celsius. Close the doors and Windows when opening the air conditioning and try to avoid opening the air conditioning for a long time when no one is indoors. Air conditioners in public areas are controlled according to requirements. Do not adjust the temperature at will.

4. Reduce standby energy consumption of equipment. Computers, printers, copiers, experimental equipment, etc., please turn off the power and plug board when not in use; When the phone is not charging, unplug the charger in time; Minimize elevator use.

Electric energy is the precious energy to promote social development. A little makes a lot, energy saving needs the participation and efforts of each of us. Let us take immediate action to spread, practice and exemplify diligence and thrift and contribute to social development.
