On September 17, 2016, the inauguration ceremony for Master of Residential College was held. Executive Vice President of Zhejiang University and Dean of the International Campus Song Yonghua, Vice President of Zhejiang University and Executive Associate Dean of the International Campus Ying Yibin, Assistant President and Associate Dean of the International Campus Fu Qiang , and K.C. Ting, Head of Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department at UIUC and advisor to the International Campus, attended the ceremony. Also present are students, tutors and counselors of the Residential College, as well as the College supporting team.
Prof. Lap-Chee Tsui received the inauguration certificate from EVP Song and delivered a speech during the event.

Lap-Chee Tsui:
Fellow of the Royal Society of London, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Sciences. He served as President of the University of Hong Kong between September 2002 and March 2014.
