Young Scholars in International Campus of Zhejiang University

With the supports from the International Campus of Zhejiang University (ZJU), young scholars from different institutes of ZJU international campus established a scientific organization entitled "Young Scholars in International Campus of Zhejiang University." This organization's aims included but were not limited to 1）Promote interdisciplinary and exploratory scientific research in international campus; 2) Enhance the ability of creativity in interdisciplinary research for the PIs and students from different institutes; 3) Foster the professional teams in interdisciplinary research and the ability in gaining supports and resources outside the campus; 4) Explore the new model of balancing research and teaching on international campus; 5) Create an exchange platform with "passion for work, cross-interests, and geek spirit"; 6) Build up an endogenous cross-disciplinary innovation model for the international campus. Moreover, this scientific community sincerely welcomes the senior PIs and the students with the passion for pursuing interdisciplinary research to join.

Spark

The Spark series of activities are organized by the Faculty Community Organizing Committee and undertaken by the campus Labor Union, and it aims to promote academic conversations on campus and stimulate the collision of ideas across disciplines. SPARK takes three forms: Spark Salon, Spark Seminar, and Spark Night. SPARK is open to all faculty, staff and students on Campus. Juanhu Lake Salon is a series of discussion activities launched by the International Campus in 2019. The Salon will provide a platform for interdisciplinary academic exchanges and university/industrial cooperation, where faculty from different disciplines of Zhejiang University have opportunities to engage and interact with each other and leading businesses and corporations in Haining City.

Juanhu Lake Salon

Juanhu Lake Salon is a series of discussion activities launched by the International Campus in 2019. The Salon will provide a platform for interdisciplinary academic exchanges and university/industrial cooperation, where faculty from different disciplines of Zhejiang University have opportunities to engage and interact with each other and leading businesses and corporations in Haining City.

Annual Academic Convention

The Annual Academic Convention of the International Campus, Zhejiang University provides a platform in which faculty and students can present their academic accomplishments. The purpose of the Convention is to provide opportunities for faculty and students on the International Campus to meet and to discuss current research on a broad range of subjects. The First Annual Academic Convention is on December 26, 2020. The Convention is broad in scientific scope, including biomedicine and health, intelligent engineering and innovative materials, and global economic development. The Convention will promote scientific and technological innovation and interdisciplinary scientific research. We warmly welcome you to the Convention, to join us in a feast of academic and cultural integration.
