Frontiers in Biomedical Sciences 1 (FBS1) is a two-semesters-course for students of Master's degree. TThe students need to participate 10 seminars organized by ZJE and collect signatures from seminar hosts. The aim of this course is to provide the latest research of current biomedical research fields. The topics of the seminars include infectious diseases, oncology, immunology, neuroscience, stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, material sciences, etc.

Electromagnetic fields and waves fundamentals and their engineering applications: static electric and magnetic fields; energy storage; Maxwell's equations for time-varying fields; wave solutions in free space, dielectrics and conducting media, transmission line systems; time- and frequency-domain analysis of transmission line circuits and Smith chart applications. Prerequisite: ECE 210.

Instruction includes an overview of the ethical standards in Finance, including the primary elements necessary to make proper ethical decisions. The course also covers key definitions, issues, and general theories of business and finance ethics, citing examples from the recent scandals that have shaken public confidence in Wall Street and the world financial markets.

The Financial Decision Making course aims to provide students with a set of accounting and financial tools that enables them to interpret and critique financial information from a variety of sources and to make informed and effective financial decisions that directly impact company operations.
