The Residential College, International Campus would be hosting the launch of the new book titled “Nobel and Lasker Laureates of Chinese Descent” by Dr. Lawrence K. Chan. Broadly, the book celebrates the birth of the most outstanding scholars in Chinese history, after the catastrophic Boxer Uprising. The author will also share more about the efforts invested and obstacles faced by the Nobel Prize winners of China, and their reception in the international community. Interested staff are welcome to participate in the book launch together with author Dr. Lawrence Chan, and our Master Prof. Tsui Lap-Chee will also be in attendance that day to share his valued insights and opinions on the publication.
