Good news! With the start of the new semester, our safety package for teachers and students is coming! The new International Campus safety education hall-"Safe Harbor" has been officially opened, and you are sincerely invited to experience it on site!
Where and what is the "Safe Harbor"?
"Safe Harbor" is located in Room 115 on the first floor of No. 2 Residential College. The indoor area is about 60.8m2. It is divided into 5 experience areas, providing teachers and students with an abundance of immersive safety education experience such as graphic display, video interaction, simulated AED emergency operations, simulated cardiopulmonary resuscitation operations, simulated fire extinguishing operations and drug sample display.
How to experience "Safe Harbor"?
In order to make it easier for everyone to quickly understand the "Safe Harbor", let's take everyone to a "cloud experience":
1. Safety Alarm Bells Ringing Area
This area provides graphic displays on pyramid schemes, fraud, drugs, AIDS, dormitory fires, and laboratory fires, so that teachers and students can quickly and directly understand the characteristics and prevention key points of the above safety risks.
2. Precaution Area
This area includes simulated AED emergency operations, simulated cardiopulmonary resuscitation operations and 4 dynamic display screens. This area provides simulated dummy and AED training device for everyone to simulate AED first aid and simulated cardiopulmonary resuscitation operations. 4 dynamic display screens are set-up to show various safety-themed promotional contents produced by ourselves.
3. Safety Education Comprehensive Experience Platform Area
In order to enrich the experience, we have provided interactive videos in this area, all of which are easy-to-understand safety education videos, and the experiencers can choose to watch them. We will also update all videos on the platform.
4. Fire Drill Area
In this area, we can quickly experience and master the correct use of fire extinguishers through fully simulated fire extinguishing operations, and acquire the necessary safety skills.
5. Stay Away from Drugs Area
If someone asks you: “Would you like a glass of "fairy water" or "Coke"?” When you accidentally answer: "Yes", you may become addicted to drugs! Facing all kinds of new drugs, what should I do? Don't worry, the “Stay away from drugs” area provides us with a large number of drug "samples", as long as you have visited, you will be knowledgable!
6. Conclusion
After visiting and experiencing the newly launched "Safe Harbor". We provide a guestbook for everyone in the "Conclusion" area. You can tell us what you want to know about safety, and we will update the arrangements for you. Come on, Let’s experience it!
