In order to manage effectively the prevention and control of the pneumonia epidemic caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), and in accordance with the relevant requirements of the government and ZJU, it is required that access control on the International Campus be further strengthened.
I. Gates and restricted opening times
East Gate, North Gate, and West Gate are closed. South Gate is open from 7:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m.
If there is any alteration to above information, an announcement will be issued in a timely manner.
II. Personnel access management
1. Faculty, staff, and students without approval to return and other unrelated persons are not allowed to enter the Campus during this period. Those who have approval to return to the Campus should present their valid IDs (including passport and staff/faculty/student ID) before entering the Campus grounds.
2. Relatives of Faculty and Staff Apartment residents should present their valid ID cards when entering the Campus grounds and get valid permission from the residents as well as the approval of the Campus.
3. The Institute or department contact person should call 0573/0571-87572119, 24 hours in advance, if anyone in their Institute or department needs to enter the Campus for reason of work. Only after being verified and registered by the Office of Campus Development and Management can the person enter the Campus.
4. All personnel must cooperate with gatekeepers for temperature monitoring before entering the school. If the temperature is normal (below 37.2 ℃/98.6 °F), the person can enter if they are wearing a mask.
III. Vehicle access management
1. Off-campus vehicles are not allowed to enter the Campus during this period. If there is a work need, the contact person in the relevant Institute or department should call 0571/0573-87572119 24 hours in advance. Only after being verified and registered by the Office of Campus Development and Management can the vehicle enter the Campus.
2. Take-away and express delivery to the Campus are prohibited. Courier items should be transferred by the property staff on Campus from the Gate for distribution.
3. Outside residents are not allowed to enter Campus vehicles. Drivers and passengers can enter the Campus if their body temperature is normal (less than 37.2 ℃/98.6 °F).
4. Members of the International Campus who have been given approval to enter the Campus and take valid vehicles (including taxis, Internet-based taxis), should present valid IDs (including passport and staff/faculty/student ID). Drivers and passengers can enter the Campus grounds if their body temperature is normal (less than 37.2 ℃/98.6 °F).
Personnel and vehicles should follow the rules and obey management. Relevant departments have the right to ask you to leave the Campus if you refuse to obey the management. We apologize for any inconvenience because of the epidemic. The Campus will adjust relevant management measures according to the progress of epidemic prevention and control and relevant requirements of ZJU and local departments, and announce them in a timely manner.
