On October 15, Ms Liu Jin, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges (Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs) of the Ministry of Education visited the International Campus for an inspection. She was joined by other leaders and representatives of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education and Zhejiang Province. They were accompanied by Professor He Lianzhen, Vice President of Zhejiang University and Dean of the International Campus, and Professor Fu Qiang, Assistant President of Zhejiang University, Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Vice Dean of the International Campus.
They visited and inspected the laboratories in ZJE, and listened to an introduction to the scientific research being conducted there.
They visited the architectural model of the campus construction and listened to an explanation of the construction and development of the International Campus.
Ms Liu gave very positive feedback on the teaching and learning on the International Campus and its exploration of international cooperation on education and talent cultivation. She hoped that the International Campus could “remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind” and demand first-class standards in order to continue to contribute to the further development of Sino-foreign cooperative education.
