Professor He Lianzhen, Vice President of Zhejiang University (ZJU) and Dean of International Campus, ZJU led a delegation to visit the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) on October 3 and 4. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen collaboration between ZJU and UIUC,
During the visit, the operation, teaching, high-level faculty recruitment, and joint doctoral training program of the ZJUI Institute were discussed. The two partner institutions also exchanged in-depth ideas on cooperation between the two universities in the areas of undergraduate teaching and joint training of master’s and doctoral students.
Professor Robert Jones, Chancellor of UIUC, spoke highly of the long-term and significant partnership between the two universities. He has been invited to lead a delegation to visit Zhejiang University next March for further collaboration.
Professor Li Erping, Dean of ZJUI, was a member of the ZJU delegation.
