August 23 marked the move-in day for a new cohort of undergraduate students, class of 2022. The International Campus welcomed post year 2000 new blood to its student body.
A total of 395 students enrolled this year, including 241 undergraduate, 120 master and 34 doctoral students. Among them, there are 134 international students, accounting for 33.9% of the new students. The undergraduates come from different places across China such as Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, Shandong, and other provinces. Most of them were born after year 2000, adding a new generation to the International Campus.
Online registration has been accessible since August 1 to make it easier for the freshman class to complete registration procedures. Students can confirm their majors and pay tuition and fees online, which allows them to move into the Residential Collage on the same day of their arrival to the Campus.
All new undergraduate students are required to participate in orientation and military training after registration. A special intensive English immersion program has been designed to enable them to adapt quickly to the teaching environment that is conducted in English.
