In order to further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between Zhejiang University and universities in Hong Kong, Professor Song Yonghua, Executive Vice President, ZJU led a delegation to HK top universities, including the University of Hong Kong (HKU), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), and City University of Hong Kong (CityU), laying a fruitful foundation for the establishment of Business School at International Campus, ZJU.
On 13 November, Professor Song and the team paid a visit to the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and met with Professor Fanny M.C. Cheung, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President of CUHK, and Mr. Keith Wong, Administrative Director of Global Engagement Office, CUHK Business School. Mr. Wong gave a detailed introduction of the School in terms of its vision and mission, talents recruitment, and programs among other aspects.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and held talks with Professor Mark Hodgson, Vice-President for Administration and Business, and Professor Kar Yan TAM, Dean of the HKUST Business School. The two sides exchanged views on the issue of the development of Business School.

Then, the delegation continued their visit to the University of Hong Kong, and met with Professor W. John Kao, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor of HKU, and Professor Cai Hongbin, Dean of Faculty of Business and Economics. Striving to nurture first-class business leaders and foster academic research to serve the needs of Hong Kong, Asia and beyond, the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) takes an entrepreneurial approach to meeting the challenges of a rapidly changing environment. An extensive discussion was carried out between the two sides in areas, including FBE’s vision and core values, human resources, overseas cooperation and exchanges, as well as the difference in education at mainland China.

On 14 November, Professor Song and the team went to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and were welcomed by Professor Daniel T.L. SHEK, Associate Vice President of PolyU, Professor Fang Qisi, PolyU Design, and Dr Pun-zee Pamsy Hui, Faculty of Business. Then team then visited TC Yung International Center for Maritime Studies, and Jockey Club Innovation Tower.

In the afternoon, Professor Song visited City University of Hong Kong, and met with Vice President Lv Jian, and Zhuo Yan, Associate Director of Global Services Office.
