ZJU Enters into New Chapter of Cooperation with Imperial College

On the afternoon of October 21, Jin Deshui, Party Chief of Zhejiang University Council, and Alice P. Gast, President of Imperial College London, signed a new cooperation agreement on South Kensington Campus. It was agreed that the ZJU-Imperial Collaborative Base be built on White City Campus. It marked a step forward after the signing of MoU in 2013.

Both leaders granted full recognition to the long-standing cooperation between the two universities and looked forward to deepening partnership in the future. Jin Deshui extended his heartfelt invitation to Prof. Alice Gast to pay a visit to Zhejiang University so as to promote mutual understanding.

Jin Deshui and Song Yonghua, Executive Vice-President of Zhejiang University, also met with James Stirling, the first Provost of Imperial College London, David Gann, Vice-President for Development and Innovation, and Maggie Dallman, Associate Provost for Academic Partnership. They carried out in-depth discussions on further cooperation.
