In the afternoon of July 1, 2022 spring and summer semester campus security and stability meeting was held on International Campus, where the campus security and stability work in the first half of the year was summarized, the new situation and new tasks were analysed, and the campus security and stability work in the second half of 2022 was deployed, so as to provide a more powerful security guarantee for the new development of the campus. Cai Quan, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee and Vice Dean of International Campus, Wang Yufen, deputy secretary of the Communist Party Committee of International Campus, attended the meeting. Qu Lijuan, member of the Communist Party Committee and vice dean of International Campus, chaired the meeting.
Cai Quan stressed that 2022 is a big political year when a lot of important events happened, do a good job of security and stability work is of great significance. He hoped everyone, firstly, to raise the political stance, strengthen the ideological understanding, to keep the bottom line of security. Secondly, to strengthen organizational leadership, in the face of emergencies, leaders at all levels should go deep into the front line and take command. Thirdly, to strengthen security publicity and education, refine and deepen hazards investigation. Fourthly, to improve the contingency plan, timely report and identify various types of security incidents, strengthen the emergency disposal. Fifthly, to pay careful attention to duty during the holidays, implement leaders on duty, personnel 24 hours on duty and other regulations to ensure the normal operation of the emergency response mechanism and command system. Lastly, to care for faculty, staff, and students, strengthen communication and build a firm line of defense for student safety.
Wang Yufen said that all should have high standards and strict requirements for the approval of activities, laboratories, fire, food hygiene, cyber information, construction and other security and stability work. Continue to grasp the work of epidemic prevention and control. And continue to do a good job in student safety management and the preparation of orientation.
Qu Lijuan stressed all should forward the spirit of the meeting to every faculty, staff and students, clear responsibility, and learn from the past safety accidents, identify hazards, and resolutely rectify. Do well on typhoons and other disaster weather defense, pay close attention to changes in disaster weather, timely start the emergency plan, and effectively achieve the work in place, personnel in place, measures in place.
At the meeting, special groups of the Security and Stability Work Committee, directors of ZJE, ZJUI and ZIBS relevant departments and international research centers discussed and made reports on the ideological safety, comprehensive security management, laboratory safety, cyber security, student safety and so on in the past six months. The safety accidents that happened in the first half of the year were reported and the campus security and stability work in summer vacation and the future period was deployed. All units and departments further enhanced the awareness of safety responsibility through the meeting and further weaved the line of defense on campus security and stability.
