On the morning of January 11, “Hainshire” ZJU International Talents Community has been inaugurated. Professor HE Lianzhen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Zhejiang University Committee and Vice President of Zhejiang University, Professor OUYANG Hongwei, Dean of International Campus, CAO Guoliang, Secretary of Haining Municipal Committee, and LV Zhongfei, Deputy Secretary of Haining Municipal Committee attended the inauguration.
“Hainshire” ZJU International Talents Community which was planned by Haining government and Zhejiang University, shares a wall with International Campus. The construction began in December 2019 and covers 133,000 square meters with planned 51 blocks and 1548 households. Among them, there are 440 units of commercial housing and 452 apartments for rent.
At the inauguration, leaders of Haining and International Campus presented the new house keys to the campus faculty and staff representatives who shared their visions of developing in International Campus and settling in "Hainshire".
HU Zhifu, Deputy Director of General Affairs Office of Zhejiang University, accepted the finely decorated apartments handed over by Haining on behalf of the university.
On behalf of the International Campus, QU Lijuan, Executive Vice Dean of International Campus, signed the "Hainshire" ZJU International Talents Community Co-Building and Sharing Cooperation Agreement with Haining.
Professor WANG Yufen, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of International Campus, LU Feihua, Deputy Director of Talent Office of Zhejiang University, and the person in charge of relevant departments of Haining jointly released the talents service complex items.
It is reported that the talent service complex will provide efficient and convenient "one-stop" services for talents in the International Talents Community, mainly including four core service items such as talents policy application, talents life privileges, foreign experts special, and talents dual creation.
In the future, "Hainshire" ZJU International Talents Community will also be open to Haining high-level talents, and International Campus will work together with Haining to create a livable and pleasant environment for high-level talents to live, work and study.
