On March 8th, over 60 iZJU female faculty and staff enjoyed their spring outing at Tangqi Village, Hangzhou.
With the breeze and a light drizzle, teachers strolled the Guangji Bridge in groups of two and three, wandered along the canal and talked about the history. The international teacher even marvelled at the wisdom and power of Chinese labour that hidden behind the ancient canal.
Then teachers went to a local farm and rolled up their sleeves to pick seasonal fruits and vegetables. For a better environment, it requires everyone to make efforts to build a modernization in which people and nature live together in harmony.
Tangqi Village is the starting point of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and experienced seasonal fruit and vegetable picking.By experiencing traditional culture and ecological civilization, female faculty and staff enhanced their communication with each other and will put themselves into work with more unity and love.
