On the afternoon of May 23rd, QU Lijuan, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of International Campus and Vice Dean, as well as more than 20 undergraduate and graduate student representatives, engaged in a lively discussion about their experiences on "studying in Haining" in order to gain a deeper understanding of students' learning and living experiences, as well as to collect their opinions and suggestions on the city's construction and development.

QU was delighted to learn during the conversation that a large number of students were eager to stay in Haining and advance their careers in the Yangtze River Delta. She offered her support for the students who want to work in Haining and learn more about talent introduction programs. She also stated that the campus will gradually establish connections between leading enterprises and students, give full play to strengths brought about by the full integration of enterprises, colleges and research institutes, and provide more support and guidance for students' employment and entrepreneurship in Haining.

Senior undergraduate and graduate students who have studied and lived in Haining for a long time were concerned about the construction status of the International Collaborative Education Model and the municipal development goals of making Haining a high-quality city. Using their professional knowledge and experiences, the students actively proposed improvements to the quality of public services, the talent introduction environment, the public transportation system, tourism and city image. There were suggestions for improving Haining's green travel network, upgrading the elderly care industry, promoting traditional culture innovation based on the cultural tourism industry, and some attentive students even paid attention to the distribution of convenience stores around campus, the setting of Haining specialty shops, the placement of public trash cans, the bus stop timetable, and the functionality of the public bicycle sharing App.

QU stated that the students' perspectives when observing problems, as well as their constructive opinions about the cooperation between the Campus and the city's development, fully demonstrated their broad horizons, emotions, and responsibilities toward the construction of the International Collaborative Education Model. She encouraged the students to keep their interest in global events and their desire to commit their lives to the advancement of society and the economy. They should not only be able to make helpful recommendations, but also apply what they have learned to change the world.
