On November 16, REN Shaobo, Chairman of the University Council, met with Han Seung-soo, Chairman of ZIBS International Advisory Board, and members of the Board. Also attending were FU Qiang, Vice Chairman of the University Council; BEN Shenglin, Dean of ZIBS; LI Hanying, Dean of International Campus ZJU; and QU Lijuan, Vice Dean of International Campus.
REN Shaobo welcomed Han Seung-soo and the Board members to visit ZIBS on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of its founding, and thanked the members for their continuous support of ZIBS and the International Campus. He affirmed the work of ZIBS in the past five years, especially the progress made in the internationalization of business studies and international student education. REN also put forward new expectations for the construction of a ZIBS internationalization team and the expansion of a globalization network. He hoped that the International Advisory Board (IAB) would play a more important role in the internationalization and expansion of ZIBS.
The members of ZIBS IAB made speeches, congratulating ZIBS on its progress and achievements in the past five years, and expressed their admiration for the results achieved by Zhejiang University in the process of building a world-class university. They said that they would continue to fulfill their duties as IAB members and contribute to the building of a more international and influential brand of ZIBS.
On the morning of that day, the second meeting of the ZIBS IAB was held. In the afternoon, its members held a series of meetings at the ZIBS Global Leaders Forum.
