On the afternoon of May 16, the International Campus, together with the Haining ZJU Alumni Association, hosted the 2nd Haining International Campus-Local Alumni Shooting and Archery Fellowship Competition. Thirty-seven teams from seven delegations—including teams of faculty and students from the ZJE and ZJUI delegations, as well as members of the Haining Alumni delegation—participated in the event, joining together to celebrate the 128th anniversary of Zhejiang University.
The event commenced with shooting and archery experience sessions. Under the guidance of professional coaches, participants eagerly took up bows and firearms, listening intently to grasp the essential techniques.


The formal competition that followed featured three main categories: 10-meter rifle, 10-meter pistol, and 10-meter archery, encompassing both individual and team events. Competitors were fully focused on their matches, cheered on enthusiastically by the live audience.




After intense competition, the Haining Alumni team clinched the group championship with 191.5 points, followed by the General Support Team and the ZJE team as the first and second runners-up respectively. Team 05 of the Haining Alumni delegation, led by ZHU Xiaoqun, secured first place among all teams with a total score of 191.5 points. Team 04 of the Haining Alumni delegation, led by SHEN Ningxiao, and Team 03 of the Research Center delegation, led by XIANG Anli, claimed second and third place with scores of 188.4 and 174 points respectively.
In the individual events, XIANG Anli from the Research Center team won the rifle event with an impressive score of 91 points, followed by ZHANG Hejia from the Administrative Team and GU Zhenghui from the ZJE team. The pistol event champion was LU Yifeng from the Haining Alumni team with a score of 75 points, with SHEN Xiaofeng and LIN Dapeng taking second and third place. The archery event title was secured by WU Lengxi from the Haining Alumni team with a score of 63 points, followed by Charlie Chen and Alan Wang.




This event served as a platform for faculty, students, and alumni to connect, fostering communication and cooperation through friendly competition. Participants noted that the event was not only a special tribute to ZJU's 128th anniversary but also demonstrated the alumni's enthusiasm for supporting the university's development through concrete actions.


Organized jointly by the International Campus Trade Union, the Youth League Committee, the Office of Planning and Advancement, the Haining ZJU Alumni Association, and the Haining Youth Sports School, this event has built a bridge for communication and collaboration between the campus and its local community. It injects continuous vitality into the campus's development, and we eagerly anticipate the next edition of this exciting event!
