On July 2, Professor Tian Mei, Director of Fudan University’s Center for Advancing Global Collaboration, and her delegation visited the Internation Campus, Zhejiang University. Li Min, Dean of International Campus, Ke Yuehai, Dean of ZJU-UoE Institute, and Wang Hongwei, Vice Dean of ZJU-UIUC Institute, met with them. The two sides had in-depth discussions on the practical exploration and future development of high-level Sino-foreign cooperative education.
Li Min provided a detailed introduction of the educational philosophy, development history, and the characteristics and achievements of student cultivation at International Campus. Li Min emphasized that the International Campus is committed to build an open and collaborative ecosystem for international cooperative education to serve national strategies and regional development needs. Li Min expressed hope that both sides would together integrate domestic and international resources and actively explore avenues for cooperation
Tian Mei introduced the establishment background and basic overview of Fudan University’s Center for Advancing Global Collaboration, as well as its explorations and experiences in promoting Sino-foreign cooperative education, high-level talent cultivation, and planning major strategic tasks for global collaboration.
Both sides held lively discussions on topics such as “Study in China” education brand and advancing the cultivation of international students in Yangtze River Delta region.
During their visit, Professor Tian Mei and her delegation toured the Campus Exhibition Center and Zhejiang University International Business School (ZIBS), accompanied by Mo Shenjiang, Vice Dean of ZIBS, and others.
The Center for Advancing Global Collaboration (CAGC) of Fudan University was established in January 2025. The purpose of CAGC is to promote the innovation and expand high-level China's policy of engaging deeply with the international community. In accordance with the policy of "wide field, multidisciplinary and cross-departmental collaboration", CAGC will cooperate with relevant departments of Fudan University and other education-scientific research department to jointly promote the major strategic tasks of global cooperation.
