To meet the health needs of faculty and students, the TCM Physiotherapy Department at International Campus Hospital was officially launched! Three major traditional Chinese medical therapies—acupuncture, cupping, and massage—are now available, with experienced TCM experts on hand to safeguard your health.
Three Major Therapies
Acupuncture
A classic "treating internal diseases through external means" method, acupuncture uses meridians and acupoints, combined with professional techniques, to unblock meridians, regulate qi and blood, balance yin and yang, and harmonize internal organs, alleviating various physical discomforts.
Cupping
Commonly known as "fire cupping", this therapy uses negative pressure to create mild congestion on the skin, which can dispel cold and dampness, unblock meridians, and promote qi and blood circulation. It is particularly effective for common middle-aged issues such as muscle and joint pain and rheumatic arthralgia.
Massage (Tui Na)
A purely physical and natural therapy, massage involves techniques such as pushing, grasping, lifting, pinching, and rubbing applied to the body surface or acupoints. It can promote qi and blood circulation, relieve pain from injuries, balance yin and yang, and alleviate physical fatigue and pain.
Professional and Reliable Treatment
The consulting expert is Director Sun Wenli, Deputy Director of the TCM Department at Haining People's Hospital and Associate Chief TCM Physician. He graduated from Henan University of Chinese Medicine with a major in acupuncture and massage and has extensive clinical experience and profound professional skills.
