On the afternoon of January 16, a delegation from the University of Western Australia (UWA), led by Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) Jennifer Howell, and Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) Maggie Ying Jiang, visited the International Campus, Zhejiang University.

Chief of Campus Min Li and Vice Dean Hongwei Wang greeted and met with the guests at the administrative building, where Chief Li outlined the campus’s ten-year journey, educational positioning, and signature achievements. Prof. Howell praised the milestone results and briefed UWA's global strategy and offshore education initiatives. Both sides expressed hope to deepen collaboration in youth exchange, academic visits, and joint training programs, building upon the existing collaboration between the two universities, pledging to inject fresh momentum into China-Australia cultural and educational cooperation.

The delegation toured ZIBS, ZJU-UIUC Institute (ZJUI), and Laitong College, engaging with faculty, staff and students, including ZJUI Vice Dean Wee-Liat Ong and UWA alumnus Kye Fisher, now enrolled in ZIBS's 2025 Master of China Studies (MCS) program.
