ZJUI Undergraduate Tang Xiuju Receives Zhejiang University’s Chu Kochen Scholarship
Zhejiang University recently announced the recipients of the Chu Kochen Scholarship for the 2025–2026 academic year. Tang Xiuju, Class of 2027 in Mechanical Engineering at ZJUI, stood out for his outstanding overall performance and was awarded the Chu Kochen Scholarship.

Established in memory of former president Chu Kochen, the Scholarship is the highest-ranking student scholarship at Zhejiang University. It recognizes and encourages outstanding students who demonstrate excellence and well-rounded development in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and practical dimensions. Each year, only 12 undergraduate students and 12 graduate students across Zhejiang University are selected for the scholarship.
