International Research Center for Information Science and Electronic Engineering is jointly built by the International Campus, Zhejiang University and the School of Information and Electronic Engineering of Zhejiang University, facing the international frontier field of information electronics, positioning international and intersecting scientific research and teaching bases, and establishing a close cooperative alliance with international top research institutions, and is committed to building a world-class research and demonstration base for international cooperation in information electronics.

The Center is located on the 3-5th floor of Building IE of Haining International Campus, with a construction area of about 4900 square meters, including professional laboratories, teacher and student offices, conference rooms, etc., and officially settled in August. Zhejiang University International Campus Micro / Nano Public platform Phase I project, which is commissioned by the Information Electronics International Research Center, is located on the 1st floor of 1E Building, with a construction area of about 1326 square meters, of which the purification experimental area is about 720square meters, which has been accepted and delivered. After opening, it can meet the basic processing requirements of semiconductor micro-nano devices, and fully support the international cooperative research and local industrial development of Haining campus.

The Center, headed by Professor Luo Jikui, currently has 38 researchers, including 27 professors, 10 associate professors and 1 lecturer; research interests include bioelectronics, artificial electromagnetic materials, new generation communications and intelligent networks, optical quantum chips, integrated circuit pilot technology, space attitude simulation and other fields. The teams of the center have published a number of high-level international cooperation papers in international high-influence magazines such as Science, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Physical Review Letter and so on.
