Wanlu Liu is an Assistant Professor in the ZJE institute at Zhejiang University. She is a former postdoctoral researcher in the department of Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the Molecular Biology Institute. She is passionate about building bioinformatics tools, mining big genomics data, and uncovering epigenetic mechanisms in stem cell fate decision. She enjoys painting, photography, and playing badminton. She dreams of one day going pro in photography.
