* International student who will study for more than 6 months should take a physical examination at local International Travel Healthcare Center (ITHC). Those who have taken the physical examination in other places and hold a “Physical Examination Record for Foreigners” should go to ITHC to have it verified. Materials for verification are as follows: “Physical Examination Record for Foreigners”; original chest radiograph; original test reports of syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C (English version only).

* New students can apply for residence permits after they obtain a “Certificate of Health Examination for International Traveller” or “Certificate of Verification for Physical Examination Record For Foreigner or Overseas Chinese” issued by Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of the People’s Republic of China.

* New students who have obtained a valid “International Certificate of Health Examination for International Traveller” or “Certificate of Verification for Physical Examination Record for Foreigner or Overseas Chinese” issued by Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of the People’s Republic of China or those who already hold residence permit do not need to take the physical examination at local ITHC.
