On October 21, Ruan Xiangping, a first-level inspector of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and others came to International Campus, Zhejiang University to investigate the construction of the Joint Innovation Center, ZJU and the International Research Center for Functional Polymers, ZJU.
Ouyang Hongwei, executive vice dean of International Campus, Zhejiang University, introduced the cross integration and international cooperation characteristics of International Campus in running schools and scientific research.
The director of the International Research Center for Functional Polymers, ZJU, China - Portugal Advanced Materials Joint Innovation Center, Ji Jian, introduced the development course, the basic situation and the construction significance of the center. The center focuses on the advanced material technology field of mutual benefits and win-win, and gives priority to cooperation in research and the complementary of advantaged resources to explore the cooperation mode with Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries.
Ruan Xiangping said that under the current international situation, international scientific research cooperation has great and positive significance.The construction of the China-Portugal Advanced Materials Joint Innovation Center will serve as a model for international scientific research cooperation in the field of materials.It is hoped that the Center can actively promote the cooperation among multiple countries and regions to give full play to the advantages of all parties and achieve high-level results.
