The first "Qiushi" International Forum of Advanced Photonics was successfully held on International Campus, Zhejiang University alongside the webinars via Webex on September 20th, 2020. More than 20 young scholars from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Switzerland, Denmark, et al gathered together and the latest development on topics was detailed at the conference. The forum was hosted by the International Research Center for Advanced Photonics of Zhejiang University, Joint International Research Laboratory of Photonics (JIRLOP), International Joint Research Center for Optoelectronic Technology, State Key Laboratory of Modern Optical Instrumentations, College of Optical Science and Engineering. It aims to provide platform to discuss the foreland of the technical development of advanced photonics, promote the technical exchange of young scholars both at home and aboard in the field of advanced photonics, continuously deepen exchanges and cooperation in scientific research and talent training, and enhance the attractiveness and academic influence of the subjects and the institutes.
