Significant achievements were made in applications for funding awards in 2019 by the International Campus, Zhejiang University. As of December 31, 2019, the total amount of funding for scientific research programs had exceeded 14 million yuan.
The government sponsored research programs approved in 2019 include 12 programs funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (7 general programs, 4 youth programs, and 1 program for International Young Scientists) and 1 National Key Research and Development Program, 1 International Cooperation and Exchanges Program, 1 Opening Project of National Key Laboratory, and 1 Exploration Program of Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. In addition, 7 non-government sponsored programs were initiated in 2019.
