Recently, the Academician Workstation declared by Zhejiang University International Joint Innovation Center was approved and awarded by Jiaxing Science and Technology Association, becoming the first overseas academician workstation in Haining City.
The International Joint Innovation Center of Zhejiang University is making great efforts to create an open and innovative ecology of international scientific and educational resources focusing on talents, disciplines, platforms and finance. In terms of talents, the Center has gathered dozens of high-level research teams led by high-level talents. The approved academician workstation will introduce foreign academician James M. Whelan’s team, focusing on strengthening the innovative and international training mode of talents, so as to provide strong support for the innovative research on plant natural medicine synthesis and the development of plant natural medicine biosynthesis.
