A series of Juanhu Lake Salons will be hosted by the Office of Scientific Research and Technology Transfer on a monthly basis this year. The Salons will provide a platform for academic exchanges and university/industrial cooperation, where the members of International Campus will have opportunities to engage and interact with professors in main campus of Zhejiang University, as well as leading business and corporation in Haining City.

The Residential College, International Campus would be hosting the launch of the new book titled “Nobel and Lasker Laureates of Chinese Descent” by Dr. Lawrence K. Chan. Broadly, the book celebrates the birth of the most outstanding scholars in Chinese history, after the catastrophic Boxer Uprising. The author will also share more about the efforts invested and obstacles faced by the Nobel Prize winners of China, and their reception in the international community.
