Synopsis:
This conference invites the director of the Institute of China Studies Professor Fan Jieping and Associate Professor, Liu Jieyu, from the London University School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) who will serve as the chairman of the conference. Renowned scholars from England, Singapore etc. will give speeches and open up for discussions on the hot topic: “Overseas Immigrants, Cultural Memory, and Identity”.
The human brain is arguablythe most complex structure on the planet, which gives us the ability to become“the lords of creation”. When the brain goes wrong, it can have devastatingeffects on both the individuals afflicted and their families. To understand howthe brain works and to figure out what’s wrong in brain disorders represent abig challenge for neuroscientists.
Great strides have been made in the field of Physics Education Research (PER) over the past two decades. Significant contributions to this progress actually come from a major restructuring effort on University of Illinois' PHYS 211 (Calculus-based Mechanics) led by three teaching-minded faculty members. This course is currently being offered for the first time at ZJUI.
