The International Campus 2021 Mid-Year Meeting, titled “Convergence, Advancement, and Innovation,” was held from September 1 to 2 to open a new chapter for the development of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and an international collaborative education model. This meeting closely studied and conveyed the speeches given by XI Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee. The key points from ZJU’s Mid-Year meeting were conveyed. HE Lianzhen, Vice President of Zhejiang University and Secretary of the CPC Committee of the International Campus, gave a report titled “Building a Hard-working, Open, and Professional Management Team.” OUYANG Hongwei, Dean of the International Campus, gave a report titled “Convergence, Advancement, and Innovation to Develop the International Collaborative Education Model”.
Other Campus leaders, Vice Deans of ZJE, ZJUI, and ZIBS, and representatives of the international research centers delivered their speeches on their respective fields, encompassing the past progress and future ambitions. At the meeting, offices directors, high-level talents, representatives of the Executive Committee of ICFC, and members of ICAAC attended the meeting and conducted group discussions, putting forward constructive opinions on topics such as the construction of the international collaborative education model and interdisciplinary integration. For the first time, the meeting was opened to all faculty and staff, with more than 90 representatives participating in the meeting.
