On the morning of May 14th, the 2022 Zhejiang University Internationality Training Class was held in Haining International Campus. 47 young staff members of Zhejiang University attended the training. Prof. OUYANG Hongwei, Dean of International Campus, Professor Wang Jingdai, Director of Human Resources Department and Director of Teachers' Work Department of Party Committee, QU Lijuan, Member of Party Committee and Vice Dean of International Campus, Prof. BEN Shenglin, Dean of International Business School attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided by ZHONG Mingwen, Deputy Director of Human Resources Department.
Prof. WANG Jingdai delivered a speech on behalf of the Human Resources Department, expressing gratitude to International Campus and International Business School for organizing the training class. He pointed out that the internationality training is required by the global open and development strategy, and the construction of "double top". Zhejiang university enjoys excellent teaching faculty and could provide good internationality training opportunities. He wished the staff members to cherish the opportunities, and continually improve their internationality and shoulder the mission of the open and development of the university and "double first-class" initiative.
Prof. OUYANG Hongwei delivered a speech on behalf of International Campus and ZIBS, expressing his gratitude to the Human Resources Department for their trust and warmly welcomed the trainees. He said that the internationality of the staff members is highly demanded by the education fusion, university mission, construction of the model area of international cooperative education. Prof. OUYANG hoped the staff members to follow the global open and development goals, improve their internationality and make greater contributions to have Zhejiang University towards a world-class university.
The course is sponsored by the Human Resources Department of Zhejiang University and organized by International Campus as well as ZIBS. This course aims at the comprehensive improvement of the staff members’ internationality, the implementation of the global open and development strategy and the construction of "double first-class". The four-day training is arranged in two weekends. The course is held by the International Campus and the International Business School for the first time.
Experts and professors who are specialized in strategy, theory, policy and practice of higher international education were invited to give expert lectures, seminars, reporting, and other forms of training, in order to let those young staff members to obtain more from the diversified, systematic, practical training and learning process.
