Recently, the China-Scotland Business Awards were announced and presented at the Chinese Burns Supper held by the China-Britain Business Council(CBBC). Zhejiang University- University of Edingburgh Institute was named ‘Educational Partnership of the Year’ Award. SueWelburn, executive dean ZJU-UoE Institute, received the award.
The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), founded in 1954, is the UK’s national business network promoting trade and investment with China. Since 2018, the council has established the China-Scotland Business Awards. This award is the only business award in Scotland that focuses on China, and receiving high attention from the Chinese Embassy in the UK and the Chinese Consulate General in Edinburgh.
