Invitation to the Young Scholars Forum

The 1st Young Scholars Forum of the International Campus, Zhejiang University will be held online and offline simultaneously on 7-9 January 2022 in Haining. The forum aims at building a high-level platform for young scholars to share their academic views and present latest progress. It will include highlights featured in keynote speeches, seminars and panels, and introduction to remuneration package at the International Campus. By focusing on research frontiers and hot topics, the forum will enhance scholarship and promote cooperation among young scholars, deepen their understanding of the International Campus and attract them to join.

Selection Citeria:

  1. 40 years of age or under (not applicable to distinguished scholars).
  2. Having obtained or will obtain PhD degree in 6 months; With education or work experience in overseas renowned universities or research institutes; With fine research achievements and good potential to become future leaders in their own fields.
  3. Being compliant with Chinese laws and regulations and having good academic and professional ethics.

  1. Official invitations will be emailed to eligible applicants from 11 Dec 2021. Please kindly respond by 31 Dec 2021.

     Travel and Accommodation:

  1. Room and board during the forum will be provided by the International Campus, Zhejiang University.
  2. Invited scholars are to book their return tickets to Haining by themselves and be reimbursed for travelling expenses (economic class for flight or second-class seat for high-speed train).
  3. In line with the restrictions of Covid-19 prevention, overseas participants are highly suggested to attend online.
