My research interests cover several areas of physics, materials science, and mechanical engineerings, such as nano-layered coatings, x-ray optics, tribology, and surface engineering. In particular, I work on designing and manufacturing new nano-structured periodical multilayer coatings, which found applications in the various fields of science and engineering, from X-ray optics to bio-industry. Our approach is strategically stacking nanometer-thick layers, which is beneficial for tailoring multiple properties (optical, mechanical, biomedical, etc.).
