From March 22 to 23, Zhejiang University International Campus, hosted a delegation from Sweden's KTH Royal Institute of Technology, led by Mikael Lindström, Deputy President of the institution. Vice Dean QU Lijuan and Vice Dean QU Haidong met with the distinguished guests.
On March 22, the delegation visited the International Research Center for Advanced Photonics, ZJU-UIUC Institute, the Exhibition Center as well as two research platforms, the Integrated Transport Collaboration Theory and Key Technologies, and the Fundamental Research and Frontier Technologies in Semiconductor Optoelectronics. Both sides shared the views on the practice of internationalized campus operation, scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation, as well as sustainable campus construction and development.
During their visit, the delegation also engaged in festivities commemorating the 20th anniversary of cooperation in the fields of optical science and energy engineering between the two universities.
On the morning of March 23, Vice President ZHOU Jianghong met with the delegation in Zijingang Campus. The two sides reminisced on the fruitful cooperation between the two universities over the past two decades since the inception of their inter-university partnership and exchanged views on the continuous promotion of joint cultivation of high-level talents, discipline development and international cooperation.
