On February 11, during the lunar New Year’s Eve, Prof. OUYANG Hongwei, Executive Dean of the International Campus, Prof. WANG Yufen, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee and Secretary of the Committee for Discipline Inspection, and other Campus leaders came to commiserate with the students and on-duty staff who remained on Campus during the Spring Festival. They also carried out the activity of writing Chinese Characters for the Spring Festival with the students at the multi-functional hall of No.1 College.

Campus leaders came to the south gate of the Campus, ITS duty room, security duty room, and canteen, asking about security arrangements during the Spring Festival and inspecting the on-site preparation of the students’ New Year’s Eve dinner. After listening to the report of the on-duty staff, the leaders expressed their confidence in, and their gratitude to, on-duty staff for their organization and hard work. They delivered New Year’s greetings, thanking the staff for their contribution towards maintaining the normal operation of the Campus. In the multi-function hall of the Residential College (No.1), the students gathered together to celebrate the New Year with the activity of “the air is full of the scent of ink; the RC is full of happiness”. The visiting leaders also joined in the activity, sending New Year greetings and commiserations to the students who had to stay on Campus.

The leaders’ concern and greetings gave both the staff and students a feeling of warmth and encouragement. They all said that they would fulfill their duties, and contribute their own strength to the safety and peace of the Campus during the Spring festival.
