On 1 November, Prof. XIAO Wen, Professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Economics, Zhejiang University, donated a collection of books to the Library of the International Campus.
Prof. XIAO has long been engaged in research on international economics, international insurance, and European economy. She has published more than 100 articles in authoritative and leading journals, both domestic and overseas. She also has published many monographs and books. The donated books, totaling 423 volumes, cover finance, trade, politics, literature, law, language, and other disciplines. They also included three of Prof. XIAO’s works (eight volumes in total): The Dynamic Transformation of China’s Economic Development Under the New Normal, Technological Improvement and the Transformation of China’s Economic Development Model, and Internationalization of China’s Privately Owned Enterprises, which provide a summation of Prof. XIAO Wen’s academic thoughts and achievements.
The Library & Information Center issued a book donation certificate to Prof. XIAO Wen, and expressed their gratitude to her for her generous donation and her concern for the construction and development of the library. The donated books will be shelved as soon as possible after cataloguing.
