On July 21, the 2024 Zhejiang International College Students’ Innovation Competition successfully completed. Zhejiang University received the Outstanding Organization Award and won 25 gold medals, marking its best performance in recent years. Two teams from the International Campus, composed both domestic and international students, won gold medals.

The team develops orthopedic research instruments to standardize bone tissue regeneration models. Guided by Professor OUYANG Hongwei and Dr. ZHANG Jie, they are tackling issues with current animal models and creates innovative precision devices for bone defect modeling. The aim is to unify and standardize bone defect models in orthopedic research.

WAMECO focuses on digital waste management solutions using AI, IoT, and ML. Our offerings include WAMECO Connect, an international platform for solid waste that integrates consulting, assessment, trading, and tracking, and WAMECO+ Dashboard, a SaaS tool for automated waste management and ESG assessment. WAMECO Connect is currently in beta testing with three user groups: companies focused on sustainability, waste management firms looking to reduce costs and improve supply chain security, and partners dedicated to environmental protection.
